SÒPHIA is certified according to the AS/EN/JISQ 9100 Aerospace Quality standard. Our Team is made up of Engineers, PhDs and Specialized Technical Personnel. The capabilities of SOPHIA are growing up day by day, thanks to the ongoing training and the several challenges we face. We have on board the most skilled people to meet several Customers’ needs in a responsible and success-oriented way.

The Aerospace and Defense sector plays the main role in the design and production activities at SOPHIA, thanks to consolidated know-how in precision mechanical constructions, combined with maximum programming flexibility and product quality.
Sòphia Manufacturing Department uses the most cutting-edge technological processes (Additive Manufacturing & CNC Machining) to produce advanced aerospace components (i.e.: combustion chambers, thrusters, nozzles, injection plates, valves and pressure vessels), guaranteeing results fully compliant with the European Space Agency ECSS-Q-ST-70-80C standards.
The Company acquired, in 2024, full ownership of the TULPS license (Consolidated Law on Public Security) pursuant to ART.28, for the manufacturing of material intended for Military equipment.

All activities carried out in Sòphia High Tech guarantee safe and healthy workplaces, by preventing accidents at work and health issues. The Company, through several investments made in the last 5 years, focused on the safety and health of its workers, has reached the level of ISO /EN 45001 certification.
Among the benefits recorded on the implementation of these choices, a significant improvement in the participation, involvement and awareness of the Team in the Company mission is certainly mentioned.

Furthermore, in Sòphia, operational and strategic actions have been implemented to reduce the gap between men and women. Sòphia High Tech has reached the level of certification for gender equality.
For Sòphia, this certification represents an important step to contribute on the improvement of internal policies, with particular reference to the respect for the principles of equality and parity between genders.

Sòphia implements and respects high standards of legality with transparent, ethical and virtuous corporate management. Therefore, the Company acquired the Legality Rating in 2025. The certification promotes competition based on merit, encouraging compliance with the rules and the improvement of quality standards by companies operating on the market.

Sòphia demonstrates a verifiable commitment to international norms like the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UN human rights declarations and it extends, through the certification SA 8000:2014, their ethical accountability to contractors and suppliers.
